"My installation appears to me as an arranged pile of found materials that I repurposed, sometimes with subtle or visible modifications. The space invites an experience of what feels like an abandoned room with small details of living domestic spaces. By locating sounds and moving visuals in the space, my hope is that you will be led to pay attention to smaller details of the space, and be intrigued and curious to look for more of those.
With this artwork I am interested in expressing how I experience the unseen, that which shapes our behavior beyond what is apparent to our senses. Found imagery of microbiology and human collective activity play along in a mostly original video piece to express the collection of memories, objects, and emotions that I experienced by growing up in a country that was just recovering from war."
